System Engineer/System Administrator - W2

Job Title: Systems Engineer IT Infrastructure
Location: King of Prussia, PA Onsite
Clearance: Active Top Secret Required
Employment Type: Contract 6+ month

Key Responsibilities
Perform Windows and/or Linux systems administration.
Automate server administration and deployment using scripting.
Perform system patching, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Support end users and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
Design and implement new infrastructure capabilities.
Maintain networks, servers, and data storage to maximize uptime.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Apply system security hardening and infrastructure best practices.
Troubleshoot complex technical problems and take ownership of solutions.

Required Qualifications
Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance REQUIRED.
Ability to obtain and maintain SCI clearance.
Active DoD 8570-approved certification such as Security+.
3+ years of IT/System Administration experience.
Experience with Windows and/or Linux Systems Administration.

Experience managing hypervisors such as:
o VMware
o Microsoft Hyper-V
o Red Hat OpenStack

Hands-on scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar.
Experience with RHEL 9, Windows 11, and Windows Server 2022.
Experience managing network equipment.
Experience with IT system security hardening.
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy.
Strong communication, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
