The Role

• Build and lead a comprehensive quality assurance and testing strategy for software development, establishing binding quality guidelines and clear release criteria.
• Design, prioritize, and coordinate risk-based testing activities, including the expansion of automated testing for APIs, databases, and regression processes.
• Manage structured defect tracking, analyze quality risks, and provide solid recommendations for software releases.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external development partners to optimize software quality and integration within development pipelines.
• Implement meaningful quality metrics and transparent status reporting to drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Need

• Several years of professional experience in software quality assurance, quality engineering, or technical test management, supported by experience in developing test strategies and quality standards.
• Solid technical knowledge in test automation, APIs, SQL, databases, CI/CD processes, and modern software architectures.
• Strong analytical mindset combined with structured problem-solving skills and fluency in German at C1 level.
