Senior Cost Accountant, 

Location: Mars, PA
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000 to $95,000 per year

Give manufacturing leadership the accurate product cost data they rely on, while handling a broad mix of accounting functions.

Must-Haves

• Manufacturing cost accounting experience
• SAP experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Experience with standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis
• Experience with AP, AR, and GL functions

What You’ll Do

• Maintain accurate product costing and inventory valuation
• Set standard costs for manufactured products
• Analyze monthly manufacturing costs, variances, and absorption
• Process AP invoices with GL coding and identify cost savings
• Process sales invoices and AR cash applications
• Complete monthly GL reconciliations for accruals, prepaids, and bank accounts
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end close
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit preparation

Nice-to-Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA or CMA
• Experience in a smaller manufacturing finance team

Compensation and Benefits

• $85,000 to $95,000 per year
