Job Description

Oracle Essbase Consultant Dallas, TX
  • Oracle Essbase administration with strong experience in Essbase 11.x/21c, BSO/ASO cubes, calculation scripts, business rules, MaxL, MDX, Smart View, and production financial planning/reporting environments.
  • Linux administration (RHEL preferred), including Essbase server management, Oracle WebLogic/middleware, shell scripting, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
  • Experience with Essbase cloud migration and AWS, including EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, infrastructure scaling, high availability, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery.
  • Strong knowledge of security and integrations, including Active Directory/LDAP, SSO/SAML, SSL/TLS, user provisioning, role-based security, Oracle Database, SQL, ETL/data loads, and enterprise data feeds.
  • Hands-on experience with automation and troubleshooting using MaxL, Bash/KornShell, PowerShell/Python, REST APIs, and CI/CD concepts; strong expertise in performance tuning and resolving data-load/query issues.
