Systems Administration Stf - E4 with Security Clearance

Job Number 15945 Standard Job Description Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

Basic Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of Information Technology experience (Workstation and Servers)
• Active Security Clearance
• Working knowledge of workstations and server deployment within a DOW Network Environment
• Effective implementing DISA STIGS, Updates and Patching of IT Platforms
• Working knowledge of a VMware environment (ESXI, VSANS, vSphere and vCenter
• Must have the temperament and interpersonal skills suitable to be embedded into a military organization.
• Ability to take general direction and follow through to task completion including solution development, planning, execution and status report.
• Working knowledge if Information Monitoring Tools (Solarwinds)
• Work effectively as part of a team.
