Senior System Administrator FSR

Position Title: Senior System Administrator FSR - Onsite Support.

Overview

Support the Australian Defence Force (ADF) by enabling system operations for the JP9347 JIC System program, which facilitates tactical, operational, and strategic data exchange across the Joint Force and coalition partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and field technical support to ADF operators and maintainers, including helpdesk services.
• Perform maintenance and upgrades on the JIC System to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with Defence and Raytheon Australia policies on Global Trade, EHSW, and Finance.
• Coordinate travel arrangements with the customer as required.
• Assist in training and mentoring of System Administrators.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• System Administration qualifications, including CCNA/P (Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional) or higher; equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Experience with Windows/Domain: MSCA or equivalent.
• VMware: VCP or equivalent.
• SIEM experience.
• Minimum 6 years' experience in complex IT system maintenance and administration.
• Previous Level 2 or Level 3 Network Engineer experience on bespoke networks.
• Understanding of IT systems, networks, user administration, and software management.
• Willingness to undertake interstate travel up to 2-3 weeks at a time.
• Ability to provide training and mentoring for System Administrators.
• Desirable knowledge of radio frequencies, networking, modems, and communications technologies.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a NV2 Security clearance.
