HR Internship

Are you passionate about people and looking to take your first steps into the world of Human Resources? Millennium Hotels and Resorts UK is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated HR Intern to join our Corporate HR team!

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn from experienced HR professionals and discover the many exciting career paths within HR and hospitality.

As an HR Intern, you’ll support both our Corporate HR team and our hotel HR teams, getting involved in day-to-day HR activities, office administration and a variety of exciting HR projects. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills, build your confidence and gain valuable insight into how HR supports our people and business.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive and can-do attitude, demonstrates empathy and emotional intelligence, and is eager to learn, ask questions and get involved.

This is an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate

Key responsibilities

• Support the HR in their daily duties.
• Support all employees with their HR queries, understand and explain the HR processes.
• HR Administration: Follow-up employees accounts, take notice of days off, lieu days and sick leaves.
• Follow projects of the HR departments
• HR administration for starters leavers, transfers, maternity and monitoring of probation periods ensuring action and production of documentation within specified time frames
• Maintain Employee Files in line with Data Protection Act.
• Provide support to Hotels HR teams and business including performance mgmt. and absence mgmt.

• Exceptional organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

• A flexible approach to work, with an ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong team player approach with the ability to network.
• Fluency in English language (verbal and written);
• Curiosity and appetite for continuous learning.
