Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Epic Beaker Build Analyst to support high-volume build, configuration, optimization, and workflow activities within the Epic Beaker laboratory information system. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Epic Beaker across Anatomic Pathology (AP) and Clinical Pathology (CP) environments.
The candidate will work closely with operational and technical teams to develop build strategies, translate business requirements into system configuration, and support testing, design validation, and workflow optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-volume Epic Beaker build, configuration, and optimization activities.
Support both Anatomic Pathology (AP) and Clinical Pathology (CP) workflows.
Help develop and execute overall build strategies for key initiatives.
Support build activities related to outstanding worklists, specimen storage, QC build, and related laboratory workflows.
Lead build activities aligned with operational testing, change backlogs, and approved design decisions.
Translate business and operational requirements into Epic Beaker system configuration.
Collaborate with laboratory, clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to understand requirements.
Support design validation and ensure configurations align with approved workflows.
Identify opportunities for workflow optimization and system improvements.
Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and validation of Beaker configurations.
Maintain appropriate documentation for configuration and build activities.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Epic Beaker.
Experience with Beaker AP (Anatomic Pathology) and/or Beaker CP (Clinical Pathology).
High-volume Epic Beaker build and configuration experience.
Experience with laboratory workflow configuration and optimization.
Experience translating business requirements into system configuration.
Experience supporting testing, design validation, and change management.
Strong understanding of laboratory operational workflows.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
