Principal Modern Endpoint Engineer

American Honda Motor Co., Inc. seeks a Principal Modern Endpoint Engineer to lead strategy, design, and operation of our enterprise endpoint environment supporting manufacturing, R&D, and corporate teams. You will architect modern management for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices, drive migration from legacy tools, and implement secure, scalable solutions using Intune/MEM and related platforms. Partner with security, network, and application teams to enhance user experience, reliability, and compliance while mentoring engineers and championing automation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, architecture, and roadmap for modern endpoint management across Windows, mac
• OS, and mobile devices
• Design and implement Intune/MEM-based solutions, including co-management and migration from legacy tools such as SCCMDefine and enforce endpoint security baselines, compliance policies, and hardening standards in partnership with security teams
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and software deployment using Power
• Shell and related tools
• Collaborate with manufacturing, R&D, and business stakeholders to optimize reliability and user experience
• Monitor endpoint health, performance, and compliance, driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead complex incident resolution and problem management for endpoint platforms
• Mentor and guide engineers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing
• Evaluate, pilot, and integrate new endpoint, security, and collaboration technologies
• Document architectures, standards, and operational procedures for enterprise endpoint services
