Private Credit Product Specialist

We are working exclusively with a specialist private credit investment manager who are hiring their inaugural Product Specialist.

This is a newly created role that will play a key part in supporting the firm’s fundraising and investor relations activity across its credit strategies. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build out and shape the Product Specialist function, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

Please note: this is a not a fundraising role.

Responsibilities

1. Engage with the firm’s existing LP base, with a focus on client retention and expansion, participating in regular calls and meetings as the technical subject matter expert.
2. Produce technical written materials, including white papers, one-pagers and competitor analysis.
3. Proactively develop new fundraising materials for both internal and external distribution, thinking critically about ensuring effective product positioning.
4. Share regular product updates and other relevant information with the Global Sales team.
5. Oversee the production of ad-hoc materials for LP events, including quarterly updates, Advisory Committee meetings and Annual Meetings.
6. Review RFP/DD submissions prepared by the internal RFP Specialist.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree.
2. 7–10+ years’ experience in a similar Product Specialist/Product role within asset management.
3. Proven technical knowledge of private credit (European direct lending experience is essential).
4. Relevant industry qualifications are desirable.
5. European language skills are a plus.
