Job Description

Position: Java Lead Engineer
Remote
Duration: 12 Months

Client needs hand-on Engineering Manager/ Tech Lead who can manage two developers but is still an active engineer 
The core skills is Java 17, Microservices/ Rest API's, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Datastax/ Cassandra, Openshift/Kubernetes, CI/CD, Splunk with Integrations into SendGrid and existing enterprise systems. 

The need strong distributed-systems fundamentals around batch/events processing, resiliency, retried, auditability, API Security, Automated testing and productions support. 
Just am important the need to be able to take an established architecture tru it into a delivery backlog, guide t 2 developers, review code, coordinate across infrastructures/security/DBA/Application teams and write production code themselves when necessary.
