Service Engineer

An amazing opportunity for a maintenance or field service engineer to join a global leader in bespoke processing machinery.

We are seeking a skilled service & commissioning engineer with an electrical background to join our dynamic team. This role involves servicing, installing, and commissioning at sites across the UK and worldwide. You will be the technical face of our company, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

This role will take you all over the world so if you have a knack for travelling and want to experience places you may not have before, this may be the job for you. This position also attracts lots of OT benefits and can take your earnings up and over £80,000!

Service Engineer Benefits:

• £51,000 base. (37 hours). £80,000 OTE.
• Door to door pay.
• £5ph on site allowance. (Overnight stays).
• Premium OT rates (x1, x1.5 and x2).
• Van and fuel card
• Phone and laptop.
• Company pension.
• 30 days holiday rising to 33 with service.

Service Engineer Duties include:

• Service, maintain, and fault find on process systems and machinery.
• Install and commission new equipment at client sites.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• UK wide travel with occasional over night stays.
• Occasional international travel.

Service Engineer Requirements include:

• Must have recognised electrical qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQ).
• 18th Edition.
• Previous experience in maintenance or service engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
• PLC knowledge.
• Ability to work alone.
• Food experience would be advantageous.
• Flexibility to work overtime and travel when required.
