IT Technician Needed - Secondary School Vale of Glamorgan<br /> 37 hours per week | Term Time<br /> Ongoing Opportunity Aspire People are recruiting for an IT Technician to join a forward-thinking secondary school in the Vale of Glamorgan.

The school has invested heavily in its IT infrastructure and has been recognised as an Apple Distinguished School, with a modern hybrid IT environment incorporating Microsoft, Apple and ChromeOS technologies.

This is an exciting opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys providing hands-on technical support and wants to work in an environment where technology plays a central role in teaching and learning. ️ The Role You will be responsible for:

Providing day-to-day IT support to teachers, support staff and pupils<br />Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues<br />Providing technical support both in person and remotely<br />Installing, configuring and maintaining IT equipment and systems<br />Supporting Microsoft, macOS, iOS and Google Workspace platforms<br />Supporting the school's 1:1 iPad programme<br />Assisting with the management and maintenance of IT assets and equipment<br />Supporting network performance and security<br />Providing technical support for the school's Management Information Systems (MIS)<br />Assisting with the school's website and digital systems<br />Supporting the effective use of technology across teaching and learning<br /> The IT Environment The school operates a varied technology environment, including:
