Data Governance Analyst

Location: Arlington, VA Salary: $50.00 USD Hourly - $55.00 USD Hourly Description: The Judge Group is currently seeking a Data Governance Analyst for a newly awarded contract supporting the Department of Transportation. This is a hybrid position based in Arlington. ship is required.

Description: Serves as the hands-on operational specialist leading the day-to-day execution and implementation of data governance across FTA.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience executing operational data governance and metadata management in government environments.
• Experience building and/or managing enterprise data catalogs
• Proven expertise harvesting technical metadata, developing standardized business data dictionaries, and mapping end-to-end data lineage across complex datasets
• Hands-on capability in designing, implementing, and monitoring automated data quality rules, validation checks, and data profiling frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating working-level data stewardship groups and collaborating directly with technical and line-of-business data owners.
• Bachelor's degree

Preferred skills: Transportation/transit/safety data domain familiarity, Collibra or other data cataloging/metadata management experience, Databricks, SQL, Google platform, and public sector organization experience
