The Role

• Manage the nursing schedule to ensure optimal patient care delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness of nursing department staffing in collaboration with nursing leaders.
• Assist and advise supervisors regarding any issues or challenges with the nursing schedule.
• Ensure compliance of employee, contract, and student files with regulatory standards.
• Coordinate and communicate the nursing staff schedule to all relevant parties in a timely manner.
• Advise supervisors on any staffing ratio concerns.

What You'll Need

• High school education or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in staffing or scheduling, ideally within a hospital setting.
• Excellent organizational and clerical skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee data.
