NDT Inspector

Title: NDT Inspector
Duration: 6 months with potential extension
Rate: $55-70/hour W2
Location: Greater Seattle, WA (onsite)

Seeking Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Inspectors to perform inspections on completed aircraft structures, components, and repairs utilizing Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Eddy Current Testing (ET), Magnetic Particle (MP) and/or Liquid Penetrant (PT).

You will:

·        Set up and calibrate equipment, conduct tests, and interpret, evaluate, and document results.

·        Document inspection results and use the applicable specifications, codes, standards and other contract documents to prepare procedures and techniques for Level III approval.

·        Interpret inspection indications and determine whether results meet applicable acceptance criteria.

Requirements:

·        5-10 years of relevant NDT inspection/technician experience with NAS 410.

·        NAS 410 certification preferred

·        Experience reading engineering drawings, specifications, and NDT procedures

·        Aircraft or aerospace-component inspection experience

·        Able to work around aircraft and manufacturing equipment, including confined spaces.

·        Available for multiple shifts, overtime and weekends as needed.

·        Must complete required safety, vision and customer-certification testing.

·        Must follow all radiation-safety requirements.
