Because this position supports a Federal Government project, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Only U.S. Citi*ens and U.S. Permanent Resident$ (Gre3n Card holder$) will be considered.
Candidate must have resided in the United States for at least 3 years during the last 5 years, subject to applicable client/federal suitability requirements.
Candidate must be able to successfully complete the required Federal background investigation/suitability process.
QA Automation Engineer
We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to support a large-scale Federal Government project. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks, API and UI testing, CI/CD integration, and modern Agile software development practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks for enterprise applications.
Develop automated tests for UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Build automation solutions using Java and/or JavaScript/TypeScript and modern testing frameworks.
Execute and maintain automated regression suites and analyze test failures.
Perform REST API testing and automation using tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or similar technologies.
Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
Work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA engineers throughout the SDLC.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, test planning, defect triage, and release validation.
Identify defects, document test results, perform root-cause analysis, and track issues through resolution.
Develop reusable automation components and continuously improve automation coverage, reliability, and execution efficiency.
Support testing and quality standards required for Federal Government applications.
Required Qualifications
Strong professional experience in QA Automation / Software Test Automation.
Hands-on experience with automation technologies such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
Strong programming experience with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar languages.
Experience with API automation and REST API testing.
Experience with test frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, or similar.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Strong knowledge of Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins and/or GitLab.
Experience with SQL and backend/database validation.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern SDLC practices.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with Taiko automation framework is highly preferred.
Experience with Gauge test automation framework is highly preferred.
Experience using Taiko + Gauge together for browser automation and specification-based testing.
Experience supporting Federal Government applications or projects.
Experience with cloud platforms, containerized applications, and tools such as Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
Experience with accessibility, performance, or security testing is a plus.
