Job Description
I am sourcing an experience Regional People Partner for a 12 month FTC based in Cheshire within the Education sector. This role will by a hybrid role working 1-2 days based onsite.
This is a great opportunity for a confident HR generalist who enjoys being close to the business, building strong relationships and getting involved in the people issues that really matter.
You'll have your own portfolio of academies across the region, working closely with Principals, Education Directors and leadership teams to provide trusted, practical HR support.
Regional People Partner Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and advising on complex employee relations casework, ensuring issues are handled fairly, effectively and promptly.
- Building trusted relationships with Principals, senior leaders and key stakeholders across the academies.
- Working alongside the central recruitment team to support recruitment, attraction and workforce planning across the region.
- Developing positive working relationships with recognised trade unions and supporting the resolution of local and regional issues.
- Supporting organisational and cultural change, helping leaders deliver the wider people strategy.
- Contributing to the development of HR policies and processes, ensuring they are practical, compliant and easy for managers to use.
- Reviewing people data and HR performance information to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting leaders and HR teams with training, coaching and development, particularly around effective people management.
- Working collaboratively with external HR partners and providers to ensure the best possible service and value.
- Supporting the onboarding of new academies, including TUPE, employee data transfers and induction.
Regional People Partner Key Skills:
- Strong generalist HR Business Partnering experience within the public sector / Education
- Proven experience managing complex ER and high level employee relations cases.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
- Experience working with trade unions and an understanding of collective employee relations.
- CIPD qualification, or equivalent experience.
- An understanding of the challenges and external factors impacting HR within the education sector.
- Knowledge of Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).
