Job Description
Vaco Technology is currently recruiting for a Tier 2 Help Desk Specialist for a full-time role located on the north side of Indianapolis. This is a 100% on-site role, Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm. The team supports multiple locations, users, applications, and hardware.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, server, and network hardware/software issues
- Provide in-person, phone, email, and ticket-based support
- Escalate urgent issues as needed
- Stay current on system updates across servers, applications, and desktops
- Participate in on-call IT support
- Monitor and respond to any major security issues that may take place
- 3+ years of systems support (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016+)
- Hands-on hardware support (desktops, servers, laptops, printers)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience with virtualization (preferred)
- Active Directory and Group Policy experience
- Microsoft Azure (Conditional Access, Intune, Autopilot)
- Knowledge of firewalls, routing, switching, and wireless technologies
- Relevant certifications (Microsoft Server, Cisco, VMware) preferred
