OneStream Implementation expert

Position Summary

The OneStream Implementation & Support Contractor is responsible for supporting the implementation, testing, and deployment of the OneStream platform. This role partners with Finance, IT, and our Solution Integrator to support financial consolidation, planning, forecasting, reporting, close processes, and related integration. The key deliverable will be providing the necessary documentation for handover to future IT support team members and knowledge transfer to in-house support personnel.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation & Project Delivery

• Participate in OneStream implementation projects from implementation through go-live.
• Gather and document IT support processes for consolidation, planning, forecasting, reporting, and close processes.
• Work with business and IT stakeholders to design a future-state support model.
• Assist implementation partners with testing and deployment activities.
• Support creation of controls that meet internal IT guidelines and principles.

Testing Support

• Work with solution integrator to execute system integration, user acceptance, regression, and performance testing.
• Document test cases, defects, and remediation plans.
• Support production cutover planning and deployment readiness activities.

Governance, Compliance & Controls

• Support financial controls, audit readiness, and documentation requirements.
• Maintain system documentation, process maps, and support procedures.
• Participate in change, release, and environment management processes.

Qualifications

• OneStream implementation experience.
• Strong understanding of financial close, consolidation, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Understanding of SOX controls and financial compliance processes.
• SAP S/4HANA integration experience.

Technical Skills

·         OneStream application administration: workflows, profiles, security, environments, and metadata maintenance.

·         Consolidation configuration and troubleshooting: ownership structures, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, consolidation calculations, and journal entries.

·         Close operations: workflow execution and monitoring, failed-step resolution, data certification, and close-cycle issue triage.

·         Data integration: OneStream Data Management, source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, load validation, and reconciliation of SAP general ledger data.

·         Financial reporting development: Cube Views, financial statements, dashboards, and Excel-based reporting.

·         OneStream Business Rules: ability to read and troubleshoot calculation and validation logic

·         Root-cause analysis: trace a reported number back through the report, cube, transformation, and source data.

·         Access administration: OneStream security groups and role-based access for finance users.
