Job Description

We are recruiting for a Junior Product Change Specialist to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Maidstone. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience using SAP and a keen eye for detail to support the management of product data and engineering changes across the business.

Working closely with the Senior Product Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate product information, supporting new product introductions, and ensuring product changes are implemented efficiently throughout the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain and update product master data within SAP.
  • Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, production versions and technical specifications.
  • Assess and implement product changes within SAP.
  • Ensure product data is accurate, complete and consistent across all systems.
  • Support new product introductions by preparing and maintaining SAP master data.
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to coordinate product updates.
  • Assist with technical product information, sustainability data, packaging information and product documentation.
  • Maintain product images and technical drawings within SAP.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Support ongoing projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety procedures.
  • Carry out any additional duties required to support the wider business.

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, analytical and enjoys working with technical data.

Essential

  • Previous experience using SAP in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Degree in Production Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

Desirable

  • Understanding of technical or electrical products.
  • Experience maintaining ERP master data.
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle or engineering change processes.
