HEAD OF MARKETING, EMEA

LONDON, UK

Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office per week.

A benchmarked salary between £81,900 - £96,900 based on your level within our progression framework.

WHO WE ARE
We are Born Social, a social-first creative agency that brings brand building into the social era. We have a track record of delivering transformation for iconic brands like Guinness, Ford, and Barclays, led by our team of social natives and brand experts, underpinned by technology.

Backed by the strength of a brilliant business that's proudly B-Corp certified, we're consistently recognised as one of the best places to work.

We’re proud to be part of Croud - a global, full-service digital marketing agency. Together, we operate as a unique scaled network of Intelligent, Creative Specialists, delivering better brand outcomes and unlocking potential for our people, our clients, and our communities.

This is a Croud role, sitting at the intersection of Born Social (Creative) and Croud (Media).

As Head of Marketing, you will lead the development and delivery of Croud’s marketing strategy across the EMEA region, working in close partnership with the Chief Marketing & Integration Officer to shape and activate our wider global marketing agenda.

With responsibility spanning both our Media and Creative divisions, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening Croud’s position as an integrated media and creative agency, bringing our capabilities together through compelling positioning, marketing campaigns, thought leadership and client engagement.

This is a strategic yet hands on leadership role, combining regional strategy and execution with global collaboration. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across marketing, sales, business development and client teams to deliver impactful marketing activity that supports business growth, strengthens client relationships and raises our profile in the market.

You’ll join a small, collaborative team where priorities can evolve quickly, so we’re looking for someone proactive, commercially minded and adaptable, who can move confidently between strategic planning and hands-on delivery.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

1. Marketing Strategy & Brand Positioning

  • Develop and deliver the EMEA marketing strategy, aligned with global priorities and business objectives.

  • Lead regional activation of Croud’s integrated Media and Creative positioning, translating our proposition into compelling go-to-market initiatives and campaigns.

  • Be part of the marketing leadership shaping global strategy, sharing best practice and identifying opportunities to strengthen Croud’s market position.

2. Commercial Growth & Client Engagement

  • Partner with sales, business development and client teams to support new business, sales enablement, cross-selling and client retention through targeted marketing activity.

  • Identify and develop impactful client case studies that demonstrate our capabilities and support business growth.

  • Plan and deliver regional client and prospect events, alongside strategic media partner initiatives, to strengthen relationships and showcase Croud’s expertise.

  • Define and monitor key marketing performance measures, using data and insight to assess impact, optimise activity and demonstrate contribution to business growth.

3. Thought Leadership, Reputation & Digital Presence

  • Identify opportunities to amplify Croud’s expertise through thought leadership, industry awards and innovative market-facing initiatives, working closely with global communications and content teams.

  • Oversee the regional application of global website and digital marketing strategy, ensuring our online presence reflects our brand, capabilities and industry positioning.

  • Explore emerging opportunities across AI and LLM search to strengthen Croud’s visibility and discovery, while using data to evaluate marketing effectiveness and inform future activity.

4. Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and develop a small regional marketing team, setting clear priorities and empowering individuals to deliver high-quality work.

  • Build strong relationships across global marketing, Media and Creative, and wider business teams to ensure alignment and effective execution.

  • Balance strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, managing budgets and competing priorities while remaining proactive, organised and adaptable as business needs evolve.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Significant experience in a senior B2B marketing role within a media, creative or full-service agency, ideally with experience in a global or multi-market environment.

  • Proven experience developing and delivering regional marketing strategies aligned with wider business objectives and global priorities.

  • Experience working across both media and creative disciplines, with a strong understanding of how to position and market an integrated agency offering.

  • A broad marketing skill set spanning brand positioning, go-to-market strategy, client engagement, events, thought leadership and digital marketing.

  • Strong commercial awareness and experience partnering with sales, business development and client teams to support growth, cross-selling and client retention.

  • Experience leading, developing or managing marketing team members, alongside the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.

  • Experience managing budgets, multiple projects and competing priorities, with strong organisational and project management skills.

  • A hands-on, proactive approach, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a keen eye for detail and creative quality.

  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment, using sound judgement to reprioritise and maintain delivery momentum.
