The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Site-Based Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of high-profile commercial refurbishment and fit-out projects within the Mayfair area of London.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor with a strong pipeline of work. The successful candidate will initially be responsible for a prestigious project valued between 12 million and 14 million, with a programme duration of approximately 12 to 18 months. Depending on project size and workload, you may manage either a single major project or multiple smaller schemes.
The role is due to commence at the end of October / early November.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial refurbishment and fit-out projects from start to completion.
• Oversee all on-site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Monitor programme performance and proactively address any issues.
• Ensure high standards of quality are achieved throughout the project lifecycle.
• Chair site meetings and provide regular progress updates.
• Manage health and safety compliance across all site activities.

About You
We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate:

• Proven experience managing commercial refurbishment and fit-out projects.
• A strong track record of delivering projects of significant value.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and site teams effectively.
• A hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Experience and project delivery capability are valued more highly than specific qualifications or certifications.
