Senior Consultant - Group Risk & Healthcare
A leading UK professional services and employee benefits consultancy is seeking an ambitious Senior Consultant - Group Risk & Healthcare to join its growing Workplace Health & Wellbeing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a varied portfolio of clients, including large and complex organisations, while playing a key role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional client outcomes.
Our client operates a flexible hybrid working arrangement of two days a week in the office, three days working from home, and can be aligned to any of their UK offices.
The Role
As an Employee Benefits Consultant, you will manage and develop a portfolio of clients, providing strategic advice and expert consulting across risk and healthcare arrangements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and growing relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of service, retention, and satisfaction.
- Providing strategic consultancy across health and risk benefit programmes.
- Leading scheme reviews and delivering tailored recommendations aligned to clients' reward and wellbeing strategies.
- Managing renewal and broking activities, ensuring compliance and smooth delivery throughout the process.
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities through networking, tender participation, and client presentations.
- Producing high-quality reports, benefit specifications, and strategic recommendations.
- Keeping up to date with market developments, legislation, and emerging industry trends.
- Collaborating with colleagues across wider employee benefits disciplines to deliver holistic solutions.
- Contributing to thought leadership initiatives and sharing market expertise.
Key skills and experience:
- Proven experience within Employee Benefits, specifically Group Risk & Healthcare market.
- Experience managing client relationships within a consultancy, advisory, or broker environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and a track record of developing and growing client accounts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative approach and a passion for supporting team success.
