Jr Data Engineer

Introduction:

As a Jr Data Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the development, implementation, and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure within our organization. You will work closely with our data team to ensure that data is collected, stored, and processed efficiently for analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and implementation of data pipelines to collect and process data from various sources
• Work with the data team to optimize data storage and retrieval for analytical purposes
• Collaborate with data analysts to ensure data quality and accuracy
• Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Assist in the maintenance and scaling of data infrastructure on cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
• Document data processes and procedures for reference and training purposes

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of data concepts and principles
• Experience working with data pipelines and ETL processes
• Proficiency in at least one cloud platform such as Azure or AWS
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or SQL
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
• Certifications in cloud platforms or data engineering
