RESORT ACTIVITIES SUPERVISOR - Hamilton Island / Events & Activities

Hamilton Island is seeking an energetic and motivated Activities Supervisor to join our Events & Activities team. This exciting and diverse role assists in planning and delivering guest, staff, community, and conference activity programs while supervising popular venues including Putt & Play, Bowl & Play, and H/Arcade. Your Role

As Activities Supervisor, you'll support the Activities Manager in delivering engaging experiences for guests of all ages. You'll supervise Activity Attendants, oversee daily venue operations, coordinate activity programs, and ensure exceptional customer service while maintaining operational efficiency and safety across multiple venues.

Where you'll make an impact

• Supervise the daily operation of Putt & Play, Bowl & Play, H/Arcade, and activity venues
• Deliver engaging activities for guests, conferences, staff, and community events
• Assist in developing new activities, seasonal programs, and team-building experiences
• Supervise, coach, and support Activity Attendants
• Provide operational coverage and assist guests throughout daily activities
• Process bookings, payments, and guest enquiries using POS systems
• Prepare and serve food and beverages while maintaining RSA compliance
• Maintain activity venues, equipment, and facilities to a high standard
• Conduct routine safety inspections and report maintenance issues
• Deliver safety briefings and ensure compliance with operational procedures
• Assist with rostering, budgeting, activity guides, and departmental administration
• Promote outstanding guest experiences across all activity programs

• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) (Essential)
• Queensland Blue Card (Essential)
• Food Safety Certificate (Essential)
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (Essential)
• Current Full Queensland Driver Licence (Essential)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to adapt to changing operational requirements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional presentation and positive attitude
