We’re looking for a Radio Systems Engineer with hands-on experience supporting LMR / DMR radio systems, RF engineering, and IP-based radio networks.

The key requirement is experience with Tait Communications systems, particularly Tait DMR, MPT-IP, or conventional radio systems. We’re also open to strong LMR/DMR engineers from comparable radio platforms who have the depth to work in a Tait environment.

What You'll Work On

  • Design, configure, commission, and troubleshoot LMR / DMR radio systems.
  • Work with base stations, repeaters, subscriber radios, controllers, and radio network infrastructure.
  • Support DMR Tier 2/Tier 3, MPT-IP, and conventional radio environments.
  • Perform RF troubleshooting, coverage analysis, site surveys, antenna optimization, and system performance analysis.
  • Configure and program radio equipment using vendor-specific tools.
  • Troubleshoot IP connectivity, TCP/IP, routing, and switching within radio systems.
  • Support system deployments, acceptance testing, documentation, and customer technical support.

What We're Looking For

  • Hands-on experience with LMR / land mobile radio / two-way radio systems.
  • Strong RF engineering fundamentals including antennas, propagation, coverage, and RF troubleshooting.
  • Experience with DMR, trunked radio, or conventional radio systems.
  • Experience configuring, commissioning, troubleshooting, or supporting radio infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
  • Tait Communications experience is strongly preferred, including Tait DMR, MPT-IP, Tait base stations/repeaters, or Tait system management/programming tools.

Tait Experience

Candidates with experience in Tait DMR, Tait MPT-IP, Tait Enable/EnableFleet, or Tait radio infrastructure are highly relevant.

Experience with other LMR platforms such as Motorola Solutions, L3Harris, Kenwood, EFJohnson, or Hytera can also be considered when combined with strong DMR/RF and radio systems engineering experience.
