Job Description

Role: Year 4 Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Year 4 students, ensuring that each child reaches their full potential.
  • Plan and implement a curriculum that meets the diverse needs of all learners.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to enhance the educational experience of our students.
  • Prepare students for their transition to secondary school, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with significant experience teaching Year 4.
  • Proven track record of raising attainment and delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for innovative teaching practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
