DevOps Engineer - W2 Only

Role: DevOps Engineer
Location: Minnetonka, MN
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in GitHub Actions, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, JFrog Artifactory, and SonarQube. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building secure, scalable deployment pipelines and managing software quality and security across the application lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
Implement and manage DevSecOps practices across development and deployment workflows.
Build, package, scan, and promote containerized applications across different environments.
Manage container images and artifacts using JFrog Artifactory.
Configure and maintain SonarQube for code quality, security, and vulnerability analysis.
Integrate security and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
Automate application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
Troubleshoot pipeline failures, deployment issues, and infrastructure-related problems.
Collaborate with developers, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
Implement best practices for source control, branching, release management, and artifact promotion.
Monitor and continuously improve pipeline performance, security, and reliability.

Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with GitHub Actions.
Deep understanding of CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
Experience with containerization and container build processes.
Strong experience with JFrog Artifactory for artifact/container management and promotion.
Hands-on experience with SonarQube administration and configuration.
Experience implementing security scanning and quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.
Strong knowledge of Git, branching strategies, and release management.
Experience with scripting and automation such as Shell/Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in enterprise-scale environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting healthcare/health insurance enterprise environments.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Knowledge of Kubernetes/Docker.
Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management.
Familiarity with vulnerability scanning and DevSecOps security tools.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on DevOps professional who can independently manage GitHub Actions pipelines, DevSecOps integrations, container builds/promotions through JFrog Artifactory, and SonarQube administration in a large enterprise environment.
