Certified Microsoft .NET Web Developer IV (.NET Developer)
Candidates must be CURRENT WI residents. No relocation is allowed. 100% remote work from anywhere in Wisconsin is an option. Onsite work can be accommodated if the candidate prefers.
POSITIONS / SCHEDULE: Two positions; 40 hours/week; day shift, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM. Occasional evening or weekend work (potentially twice a month); this is not an on-call position.

DESCRIPTION

The Certified Microsoft .NET Web Developer IV is responsible for day-to-day maintenance of applications and support for business requests. The person in this role will manage integrations. This project requires knowledge of full stack development. This is an application support position.

  • Design, develop, and implement web-based applications using the .NET framework to support business requirements, including ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core, C#, C++, C, Bootstrap, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates documentation, and performs application coding and testing. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
  • Implementing or using security controls directly into the software development lifecycle, including GitHub Advanced Security.
  • Experience ensuring enforcement and advancement of security and DevSecOps standards through secure development practices, vulnerability remediation prioritization, automated testing, performance monitoring, and compliance with organizational security frameworks.
  • Provide support for security including vulnerability remediation, participation in security initiatives, escalation support for cybersecurity incidents. Ensure regulatory compliance in systems.

KEY SKILLS

  • Development and support of web-based applications using .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET Core (5 8+ years).
  • Supported programming languages, including C#, C, and Bootstrap (5 8+ years); C++ is also identified in the client description.
  • Supported scripting languages, including TypeScript and JavaScript (5 8+ years).
  • ASP.NET and SSRS reporting (5 8+ years).
  • Front-end and back-end development of web applications and web APIs (web services) (5 8+ years).
  • SQL back-end and stored procedure experience (5 8+ years); SQL Server and relational database experience.
  • Knowledge of secure software development frameworks, including NIST 800-218 SSDF and ISO 27034, to ensure secure and compliant systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, judgment, and diplomacy.
  • Bachelor's or associate degree in an area of specialty, or 5 8+ years of experience in the field or a related area.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS

  • Experience with Kendo UI Controls (5 8+ years).
  • Experience with Power BI (5 8+ years).

INTERVIEW PROCESS

  • 1 2 rounds conducted via Microsoft Teams.
