Key Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Logistics Operations- Manage day-to-day logistics activities for an assigned book of customers
- Forecast and plan customer needs one week in advance to support smooth operations and minimize disruptions.
- Accurately enter and process customer shipping requests.
- Coordinate Shipments and Resolve Exceptions- Update and reschedule missed pickups and deliveries
- Enter and audit shipments in logistics systems and customer portals.
- Review large LTL shipments for accuracy, including shipments of 7 or more skids or 7,000+ pounds.
- Provide Customer Service and Communication- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.
- Provide timely, professional updates regarding shipments, delays, and operational issues.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and excellent service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure operational tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate Afterhours Issues and Handoffs- Provide complete information, context, and references to the Afterhours team to support effective resolution.
- Ensure clear and accurate handoffs of outstanding issues.
- Support Billing, Auditing, and Operational Accuracy- Ensure all required billing references are captured for accurate and timely invoicing.
- Partner with the Freight Audit team to research and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Review unbilled reports and close open items to support timely customer billing.
- Maintain accurate records and data across applicable logistics systems.
Work Environment
- Primarily an office-based, logistics operations environment.
- Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm
- Requires regular communication and collaboration with customers, internal teams, and logistics partners.
- Work may require managing multiple priorities and time-sensitive operational issues simultaneously.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent education and/or relevant professional experience may be considered.
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, warehousing, supply chain operations, or a related field.
- Experience managing customer logistics activities and resolving shipment or delivery issues preferred.
- Experience with logistics management systems, customer portals, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience reviewing and auditing shipment information for accuracy.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and respond proactively to operational issues.

Pay/Benefits/Perks
- $25/hr
- Accrue up to five days PTO in first year. Two-weeks vacation, plus one week PTO accrue on first anniversary.
