The Role • Oversee the strategic, medical, and organizational direction of the Pediatric Orthopedics department, with a focus on establishing and developing its surgical capabilities. • Provide expert surgical treatment for congenital and acquired musculoskeletal disorders in children and adolescents, including spinal, limb, and neuromuscular conditions. • Develop and implement an integrated treatment concept encompassing acute care, surgery, and rehabilitation. • Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing interdisciplinary team. • Foster close collaboration with Neurosurgery, Neuropediatrics, Pediatric Rehabilitation, Anesthesiology, Intensive Care, and Radiology. • Represent the department internally and externally to referring physicians, professional societies, and network partners.
