Job Purpose:
Tioxide is looking for a Communications Executive to join its Business Services team and support communications activity across Tioxide and the wider LB Group.
Reporting to the Strategic Communications Manager, this is a varied role providing the opportunity to work across internal and external communications, digital channels, content development, marketing communications, brand management and business events.
The Communications Executive will develop engaging, high-quality content, help manage Tioxide's digital communication channels and support the delivery of communications projects and campaigns that strengthen the Tioxide brand and support wider business objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Content Development Develop and maintain high-quality communications materials including marketing literature, presentations, website content, social media content and internal communications, ensuring messaging is engaging, accurate and aligned with business and brand objectives.
• Digital Communications Support the management and development of Tioxide's digital communications channels, including websites, intranet, social media, webinars and email communications. Ensure content remains current, engaging and consistent with corporate brand standards.
• Marketing Communications Support Assist with the planning and delivery of integrated marketing communications activities, campaigns and customer-facing communications across the business.
• Communications Coordination Support the effective management of communications projects, schedules and workflows, working with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure activities are delivered to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
• Brand Governance Act as a Tioxide brand ambassador, helping ensure communications materials consistently reflect corporate branding, key messages and visual identity guidelines.
• Crisis and Issues Communications Provide communications support during business issues, incidents and crisis situations, assisting with the preparation and timely distribution of appropriate communications materials.
• Communications Centre of Excellence Support the delivery of Communications Centre of Excellence activities, providing content, digital and wider communications support for Tioxide and LB Group initiatives.
• Measurement and Reporting Maintain communications metrics, reporting tools and dashboards, monitoring the performance and effectiveness of communications activity and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Experience and Qualifications:
Essential

• Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Minimum of two years' experience within communications, marketing, public relations or a related role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading capability.
• Experience managing or supporting digital communications including websites, social media platforms and content management systems.
• Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and competing deadlines.
• Confident working with stakeholders across different functions and levels of an organisation.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
• Experience using communications and content tools such as Canva, WordPress, Hootsuite or similar platforms.

Desirable

• Experience working within a manufacturing, chemical, engineering, energy or other industrial environment.
• Experience supporting both internal and external corporate communications.
• Experience of communications within a multi-site or international organisation.
• Exposure to crisis, incident or issues communications.
• Experience using communications analytics, performance metrics and reporting dashboards.
• Experience supporting corporate brand standards and brand governance.
• Experience coordinating events, webinars or other stakeholder communications activity.
