Join the Weimer Bearing team as our next HR Generalist!
We are looking for an experienced, people-focused HR professional with 2+ years of HR Generalist experience to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working directly with employees and managers, balancing day-to-day HR responsibilities, with opportunities to improve processes and strengthen our workplace culture.
The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of a broad range of HR functions.

What You'll Do
Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers by providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations. Administer payroll, employee benefits, FMLA, workers' compensation, and leave programs. Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date employee records. Help manage an effective full-cycle recruitment and hiring process, creating a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers. Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, company events, and employee recognition programs.

Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws and regulations. Plan and conduct new-hire onboarding, orientation, and employee training. Administer and coordinate the employee performance review process. Process important employee documentation, including benefits and tax information. Review and approve time-off requests and assist with creating employee work schedules. Become a super-user of our Paylocity HRIS, helping ensure the system is used effectively and accurately. Support additional HR initiatives and projects as needed.

What We're Looking For
2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar position. Experience with payroll, benefits, leave administration, and employee relations. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with employees, managers, and leadership. Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with an HRIS system;

Paylocity experience is a plus

Manufacturing or industrial HR experience is preferred, but not required.
