Job Summary

Client is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist with strong expertise in Python, statistics, machine learning, SQL, and interactive data visualization. The ideal candidate will develop and deploy production-grade machine learning models, perform advanced statistical analysis, and build interactive dashboards to support data-driven business decisions. Experience with cloud deployment, PySpark, and stakeholder management is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models in production environments.
• Perform statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, experimental design, and model validation.
• Use Python, pandas, SQL, and PySpark for data analysis, transformation, and large-scale data processing.
• Develop interactive dashboards and visual applications using Plotly and Plotly Dash.
• Implement generative AI and LLM-based solutions to improve analytical capabilities and business processes.
• Deploy and maintain machine learning models in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
• Present technical findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support end-to-end project delivery and mentor junior team members.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Python for data science, analytics, modeling, and automation.
• Strong statistical knowledge, including hypothesis testing, experimental design, and statistical validation.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning models in production.
• Expertise in pandas, SQL, and data manipulation.
• Experience with Plotly and Plotly Dash for interactive dashboards and visualizations.
• Experience with PySpark for distributed data processing.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including model deployment.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and GenAI applications.
• Graph databases, graph analytics, network analysis, and graph algorithms.
• MLOps, model monitoring, and machine learning lifecycle management.
• Financial services or other regulated-industry experience.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. A Master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
