Job Description

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a POS Treasury Analyst for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Healthcare clients in Greensboro, NC .
Responsibilities :
  • Support and maintain pos cash management systems for assigned sites, including payment posting, transaction accuracy, and financial reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze daily cash operations across all payment-accepting locations (cash, checks, credit cards, etc.) To ensure accurate and timely financial statement presentation.
  • Prepare, review, and post monthly journal entries, ensuring compliance with internal controls and maintaining detailed supporting documentation and schedules.
  • Conduct daily reconciliation of banking transactions, including cash flow, wire transfers, and credit card activity, to support accurate financial reporting and decision-making.
  • Perform intermediate to advanced variance analysis, investigating discrepancies across multiple systems and clearly communicating findings to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Assist with the implementation and rollout of new point of sale systems and locations, including system testing, system configuration, merchant id creation, operational readiness, validation, data integrity checks, and cutover support.
  • Provide end-user training and ongoing support for pos systems, serving as a first point of contact for user questions and basic issue resolution while delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Train and support cash site personnel on depository procedures, troubleshooting issues, and managing equipment needs (e.g., deposit slips, pos machines).
  • Maintain proficiency in financial systems such as Workday, Office Connect Hyperion, , and Microsoft office; serve as a subject matter expert and resource for transaction processing and reporting.
  • Support pci dss compliance efforts, assisting with assessments and ensuring secure handling of payment data across all pos systems.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to team and organizational needs.
Required Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree Or Associates Degree With A Minimum Of 6 Years Related Experience In Accounting Or Financial Services
  • 6+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting
  • Experience in Point of Sales and reconciliations

Preferred Skills:
  • Bank Experience Preferred
  • Previous Healthcare Revenue Cycle Experience.
  • Experience working troubleshooting and working with front end users
  • Ctp Or Other Related Certification Is A Plus.
