Senior Software Engineer — Data Layer Automations (Rust, Node & GraphQL)

6+ years of software engineering experience, including significant time building and operating production backend or platform systems. Hands-on experience designing and owning CI/CD pipelines for production services — on Rio (our internal CI/CD platform) or a comparable platform (GitHub Actions, Buildkite, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Tekton, Argo).
• Production experience writing Rust, and a working understanding of the Rust toolchain: Cargo workspaces, features, cross-compilation, and build performance. Strong Node.js / TypeScript skills for building services, tooling, and automation. Solid experience with GraphQL APIs — schema design, resolvers, and how schema changes affect clients.
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), plus deployment strategies such as canary, blue/green, and feature flags. Comfort owning services in production: observability, SLOs, and incident response.
