System Engineer LV2 BP with Security Clearance

We're seeking a System Engineer (Level 2) with strong Linux and OpenStack expertise to manage virtualized infrastructure, automate operational workflows, and maintain system health across multi-region deployments.

Required Skills • OpenStack experience

• Linux experience to include: Red Hat 6, 7, 8, and 9
• Experience with Grafana and Naemon
• Virtual Machine - Hypervisor
• Ansible and Puppet
• MachineShop experience
• Hypervisor virtual machine experience
• Python development language
• Understanding of Return-to-Service (RTS) protocols
• Familiarity with Pagent and Putty
• Python development language
• Bash scripting
• Daily troubleshooting of Linux, Windows, Red Hat 6, 7, 8, and 9 Operating Systems
• Providing Ubuntu support
• Oversee cross-platform virtual machine lifecycles across Linux hypervisor environments (possibly Windows), optimizing resource allocation and compute capacity.
• Maintain and manage various versions of OpenStack across multi-region deployments
• Troubleshoot issues across Agency GOTS OpenStack platforms
• Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible and Puppet
• May include developing end-to-end Python and Bash scripts to automate daily operational tasks, reduce manual toil, and streamline system provisioning workflows
• Manage YUM repos (GOTS repository management)
