Shift: Monday - Thursday 2:15PM - 12:45AM
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00/hour + $1.00 shift differential
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate various production machinery safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Remain flexible and adaptable to changing assignments, production demands, and department needs throughout the workday
- Execute job tasks according to specifications outlined on the job card
- Accurately record job start and completion times, material usage, and production data
- Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections to verify compliance with job requirements and quality standards
- Notify the Lead Operator or Quality Control of any quality concerns and pause production until the issue is resolved; escalate unresolved issues to the Plant Manager
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the shift
- Adhere to all safety, security, and operational procedures
- Meet or exceed established productivity, efficiency, and quality targets
- Actively participate in cross-training on all applicable machinery and production processes to build versatility and support operational coverage across departments
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Six (6) months to two (2) years of job-specific experience
- Experience working in a computer-based environment with business or ERP software
- Basic math and measurement proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to cross-train across multiple machines, jobs, and production areas
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Continual use of hands; constant standing, walking, reaching, bending, pulling and lifting
