Houseman, Hotel - Overnights

This position typically starts at $16 per hour and works a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Team members begin accruing PTO starting on day one, and full‑time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days.

Performing duties with the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment including carpet/floor care; maintaining the cleanliness of the guest room floors and storage closets as needed; picking up linen and garbage from housekeeping carts throughout the day; removing dirty linen from vacant rooms at a minimum of 10 rooms per Room Attendant per day; performing special projects assigned by supervisors; following safety and security procedures

• Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; arrives on time in a clean uniform with required name tag, ID, and licenses, ready to work with a positive, ready‑to‑learn attitude.

• Greets guests and team members warmly and professionally, supporting our Family Style Service culture.

• Works a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

• Must be at least 18 yrs. of age.

• Ability to read, write, and understand English. Able to communicate via a radio.

• Communicates effectively and maintains positive working relationships with guests, coworkers, and management.

• Must pass the required background check.

• Report to work in a neat and clean uniform, with slip resistant shoes. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.

• Ability to work in a loud, fast‑paced environment while handling multiple tasks under time constraints.

• Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.

• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodation.

• Able to lift and carry upwards of 5-15 pounds.

• Able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned area.

• Must be able to stand for 8 hours at a time.

• Respond to visual and aural cues.

• Able to work flexible shifts.

• Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.

• Must be able to manage several tasks.
• Ability to interact effectively with co-workers.
