ComResource is looking for a Lead Agilist.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Agile teams by coaching, facilitating, and mentoring at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Foster high-performing teams through inspect-and-adapt loops to continuously learn and improve.
  • Apply empirical data collection to benefit the team and organization.
  • Facilitate communication, cooperation, and collaboration inside and outside the Agile squad.
  • Shield the Agile squad from external requests and interference to ensure the team remains fully functional and productive.
  • Remove or escalate Agile squad impediments, including cultural barriers, logistical challenges, and coordination with other teams.
  • Foster self-organization, learning, and growth within the Agile squad.
  • Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear.
  • Work to improve the effectiveness of all roles within the Agile squad.
  • Maintain continuous learning regarding Agile, Scrum, coaching, facilitation, emotional intelligence, and team dynamics.
  • Apply working knowledge of practices that support agility, including Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Test-Driven Development, and Automated Test-Driven Development.

Essentials:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a directly related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of full-time business experience.
  • 3+ years of Scrum experience.
  • Solid understanding of the Scrum framework and principles of agility.
  • Working knowledge of other Agile frameworks including Kanban, Scrumban, XP, and mob programming.
  • Understanding of all software lifecycle development disciplines including project management, requirements management, analysis and design, quality assurance, testing, implementation, deployment, and configuration and change management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including experience presenting, teaching, mentoring, and facilitating at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Coaching skills with the ability to communicate complex messages and teach new concepts.
  • Ability to resolve interpersonal and organizational conflicts; strong mediator.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport that creates a sustainable and effective workplace.
  • Ability to promote innovative thinking and self-improvement.
  • High energy and passion for building strong teams.

Desired:

  • Familiarity with Agentic AI concepts and information security.
