SEN / SEND Tutor | Bradford, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are seeking dedicated SEND Tutors and Teachers to join an organization committed to transforming the lives of young people with special educational needs and SEMH needs. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact within your community through flexible and child-centered support.

The Role

• Provide in-person, remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 - KS5, referred by local authorities and schools.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring sessions.
• Report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for vulnerable young people.
• Work with learners experiencing MLD, SLD, and PMLD, as well as other additional educational needs.

What You'll Need

• At least 2 years of teaching experience, with a focus on SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed).
• Two professional references.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
