The Senior Finance Manager, North America is the senior finance leader for the North American business, owning both the forward-looking finance agenda and the integrity of the region's accounting operation across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Reporting to the VP, Finance, this leader owns budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, KPIs, and management reporting, and partners with operations and executive leadership to translate financial data into decisions that drive P&L performance.

The role also leads the NA accounting team ensuring the books close accurately and on schedule, internal controls meet SOX requirements, and reliable financial information reaches leadership. The Senior Finance Manager is the independent reviewer/approver that anchors the region's segregation-of-duties framework and supports the ongoing NA Finance + SAP integration, including harmonization of a common North American P&L. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Lead variance analysis, scenario planning, and management reporting that explains what the numbers mean, not just what they are.

Design, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for the region. Provide strategic financial planning input and financial modeling for growth, capital, and improvement initiatives. Finance Leadership & Team Management
Lead and develop the NA finance/accounting team; set expectations, coach, and manage performance. Build cross-training and documented backup coverage (primary + backup) for key functions to reduce key-person risk.

Accounting Oversight & Controls
Provide independent review and final approval of month-end close, OneStream loads/approvals, master data changes, and CER/LER capital requests. Own annual reporting and support internal/external audit requests. serve as the independent reviewer/approver where full separation is not feasible.

Oversee intercompany transactions and transfer pricing across the U.Strategy, Systems & Projects
Support the NA Finance + SAP integration and the design/implementation of a common North American P&L. travel, purchasing, reporting) that reduce non-value-added work and support a lean, controls-compliant structure. Provide legal review support and coordinate with corporate on compliance matters. Partner cross-functionally with plant and operations leaders on financial performance and decision support. Directly leads the NA finance/accounting team.

Responsible for hiring, coaching, performance management, cross-training, and succession planning. Oversees the Accounting Lead's day-to-day accounting operation and provides functional leadership to the Senior Accountant, transitioning to a formal reporting structure per the approved phased plan. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or equivalent experience). Minimum 8–10 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including FP&A and team leadership. Demonstrated ownership of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.

Strong ERP experience (SAP preferred) and consolidation tools (OneStream preferred). Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with operations and executive leadership. CPA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent. Experience in manufacturing (plastics/injection molding or automotive supply preferred). Multi-country finance experience across the U.Canada, and Mexico — familiarity with Canadian (CRA/T4/EHT/RPP) and Mexican statutory, tax, and payroll requirements; working Spanish a plus. Experience leading ERP implementations or finance transformation projects.

On-site role based in Fraser, MI, with periodic travel (up to 25%) to NA sites. Standard office environment; occasional plant-floor exposure requiring appropriate PPE.
