Civil Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil or Structural Engineer to join a major UK design campaign supporting the delivery of infrastructure and non-infrastructure water projects. The business is strengthening both its civil and structural capability, meaning engineers from either discipline will be considered.

With offices across Manchester, London, Bristol, Exeter, Derby, Peterborough, Glasgow and Northern Ireland, the position provides flexibility alongside exposure to a varied programme of water and wastewater treatment work. The Role You'll be involved in:

Delivering civil or structural design across water and wastewater projects<br />Developing engineering solutions throughout the design lifecycle<br />Producing technical calculations, drawings and design documentation<br />Reviewing technical information and resolving engineering issues<br />Coordinating with mechanical, electrical, process and wider disciplines<br />Contributing to multidisciplinary design reviews<br />Supporting projects through design development and technical delivery<br />Working closely with engineering and project teams across the UK What They're Looking For Strong Civil and/or Structural Engineering experience<br />Relevant Civil or Structural Engineering qualification<br />Good understanding of civil or structural design principles<br />Experience delivering technically complex engineering designs<br />Ability to produce and review calculations and technical information<br />Strong multidisciplinary coordination skills<br />Good technical problem-solving and communication capabilitiesPrevious experience across water, wastewater, treatment works or wider process infrastructure would be highly beneficial.
