Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI, business requirement gathering, stakeholder communication, and onsite coordination. The ideal candidate will work directly with business users to understand their needs, document functional requirements, and collaborate with technical teams to deliver scalable solutions. Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) is preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with business users and stakeholders to understand business objectives, pain points, and functional requirements.
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions, workshops, interviews, and document business needs.
- Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
- Analyze business processes and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Coordinate with onsite business users and offshore development teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Support Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and solution validation.
- Provide post-implementation support and facilitate user training when required.
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Strong experience in requirement gathering and business process analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with business users and executive stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard creation, report development, and data visualization.
- Experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process maps, and functional specifications.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, or similar collaboration tools.
- Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), including services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, or Looker.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and data analysis.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and reporting solutions.
- Understanding of API integrations and data mapping.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for onsite business stakeholders.
- Coordinate discussions between business users, project managers, and offshore technical teams.
- Clarify business requirements and resolve functional queries during development.
- Manage requirement changes and communicate project updates to stakeholders.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and obtain business sign-offs.
- Ensure smooth communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, or PMI-PBA are an added advantage.
- Experience working with enterprise reporting and analytics projects.
- Exposure to cloud migration or digital transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of SDLC, testing methodologies, and change management processes.
- Experience working in a global delivery model with onsite-offshore coordination.
