Qualifications\n

Required Education:

\n

Minimum Required Education: B.S. in computer science with a Radiology Background or 5 years experience working with RIS and PACS.

\n

Required Experience:

\n

Minimum: 3 years of combined experience in Radiology, Radiology Management, System Analysis, or implementation required. Excellent communication skills desired.

\n

Responsibilities\n

Perform or oversee/supervise the performance of PACS and Radiology Information System duties such as trouble shooting, documentation, maintenance and analysis of data. Act as an active member of the Radiology Management Team. Provide continuing education for existing employees and orientation for new employees, on the PACS and RIS system. Represent the Department of Radiology and Clinical Services as requested regarding PACS and other IT systems with regard to the various computer systems at TMH. Assist in establishing and monitoring various information reports that are provided by the PAC and RIS system. Maintains PACS and Cerner/RadNet development user groups and monitor all software corrections that are installed to address software or systems problems to ensure resolution of those issues. Perform software product evaluations, analysis, and design for interdepartmental systems projects. Plan, coordinate and manage system implementations, upgrades and changes.
