Job Description

We’re looking for a talented and proactive Creative Design Lead to help bring the Hollis brand to life across everything we do.

This is a varied role with real breadth. You’ll create engaging, high-quality design across digital and printed channels, while helping colleagues throughout the business use our brand confidently and consistently. From campaigns, presentations and corporate publications to social media, events and video, your work will play an important part in how Hollis communicates with clients, colleagues and the wider market.

You’ll join a collaborative Brand and Communications team and work closely with colleagues across Communications, Marketing, Bids and People and Culture. It’s a great opportunity for someone who combines strong creative judgement with excellent organisation and enjoys improving how design is delivered across a business.

As our Creative Design Lead, you’ll act as a guardian of the Hollis brand, making sure our visual identity is used consistently and effectively across different channels and materials.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating high-quality, on-brand design for social media, presentations, corporate documents, advertisements, website graphics and wider marketing collateral

  • Developing and maintaining branded templates that make it easier for colleagues to produce consistent, professional materials

  • Creating and managing a self-service brand toolkit in Canva

  • Providing guidance and training to help colleagues use Hollis brand guidelines, templates and assets effectively

  • Working with our Communications team on the visual design of service, sector and corporate brochures

  • Collaborating with the Bids team to develop and maintain visually engaging bid templates

  • Creating materials for internal communications and People and Culture campaigns

  • Producing event collateral, including invitations, banners, stands and supporting materials

  • Designing artwork for campaigns, sponsorship activity, corporate merchandise and strategic business projects

  • Managing incoming design briefs, agreeing realistic deadlines and delivering work to the required standard

  • Maintaining our central library of brand assets, including logos, photography, video content and client branding resources

  • Editing and quality-assuring video content

  • Managing and organising the Hollis photography library

  • Liaising with external agencies, printers and other suppliers when required

  • Exploring how AI-supported creative platforms can be trained and optimised to produce outputs aligned with the Hollis brand

  • Reviewing design processes and identifying practical ways to improve the service provided to the wider business

Your profile:

You’ll be a creative, detail-focused designer who can balance strong ideas with the practical demands of working in a busy, collaborative environment.

You’ll bring:

  • Strong graphic design skills, with the ability to work across digital and printed formats

  • A good understanding of brand identity and the confidence to apply brand guidelines consistently

  • Experience creating templates, presentations, social media assets and marketing collateral

  • The ability to translate a brief into clear, engaging and polished creative work

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality

  • Strong organisation and the ability to prioritise multiple briefs and deadlines

  • A proactive, flexible and self-motivated approach

  • Clear and professional communication skills

  • The confidence to build positive working relationships with colleagues and external suppliers

  • A collaborative approach and a willingness to share knowledge and guide others

  • An interest in using tools such as Canva and AI-supported creative platforms to improve quality, consistency and efficiency

  • A mindset focused on continually improving processes, templates and ways of working

Our preference is to recruit directly wherever possible. Should this role be approved for support from external recruitment partners, we will contact our PSL agencies accordingly.

Please note that we do not accept unsolicited CVs from agencies. Effective introduction of a candidate will only be accepted if it has been requested to submit CV’s in relation to a specific vacancy. Any speculative submissions will not incur a fee. For any queries, kindly reach out to the appropriate Talent Acquisition team member.

The Company

All together different - We're independent, multi-disciplinary real estate technical experts, project managers, and sustainability consultants. At Hollis, we know buildings inside and out. For more than 30 years, we've been powered by independence and driven by deep technical knowledge - a unique combination that sets us apart.

Advising across core real estate markets in the UK and Europe, we understand how buildings work, how they perform, and how to unlock their full potential with unbiased, value-driven commercial solutions.

Why join us?

At Hollis, we create an environment where people can grow into their potential.

You’ll be supported to take on new challenges at the right pace, building your confidence, capability and technical expertise over time. Whether you’re already experienced or still developing, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the industry and gradually take on more responsibility as you grow.

We’ll encourage you to develop a strong commercial understanding alongside your technical skills-helping you see the bigger picture and build a well-rounded career. You’ll work closely with clients and colleagues, gaining exposure and developing the confidence to make a meaningful contribution.

You’ll also be in a business where your ideas are welcomed, where your manager takes a genuine interest in your development, and where progression is based on your growth-not just time in role.

Above all, it’s a people-first, one team culture. We're supportive, down-to-earth, and focused on helping everyone do their best work while enjoying what they do.

What we offer

We recognise the contribution our people make and offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including:

• Life assurance and private medical insurance

• Season ticket loan

• 5% employer pension contribution

• 25 days’ annual leave, plus your birthday off

• Cycle to work scheme, retail vouchers, gym discounts and more

• Electric vehicle scheme

• Longevity awards

• Employee-owned, profit-related bonus

We operate a flexible, hybrid working model, giving you the option to balance time between home and the office. We also support flexible working where possible, recognising that people work best in different ways and at different times.

Alongside the day-to-day, we’re a sociable and connected team. From informal catch-ups to team events, charity initiatives and office activities, there are plenty of opportunities to build relationships and feel part of the wider business.

We’re inclusive

We’re committed to creating a genuinely inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome, supported and able to succeed.

We value different perspectives and experiences, and we work to ensure that our processes, culture and opportunities are open to all. At Hollis, inclusion is part of how we work-helping individuals develop, contribute and feel confident being themselves.

Don’t meet every requirement?

If you’re interested in this role but don’t feel your experience perfectly matches, we’d still encourage you to apply. We know that potential isn’t always reflected in a CV, and we’re open to people who are keen to learn and develop.
