Curam Solution Architect

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Curam Solution Architect to provide technical architecture, design, and leadership for enterprise Cram applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Cram V7, Java/J2EE, application architecture, middleware, databases, security, and web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical architecture and solution designs for Cram applications.

• Lead and oversee the analysis, design, development, implementation, integration, and testing of web-based applications and middleware.

• Design and implement solutions using Cram V7.

• Provide architectural guidance for Cram Rules Framework, Evidence Brokering, IEG, UIM, Facade Layer, and Cram Modelling.

• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable and secure application architectures.

• Review application designs and ensure adherence to enterprise architecture and development standards.

• Provide technical leadership throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Work with Agile and iterative development teams to deliver application enhancements and new functionality.

• Design secure solutions using Java security technologies, encryption/decryption, SSL, TLS, and PCI standards.

• Architect Java/J2EE applications using Web Services, JAXB, EJB, JNDI, JSF, JMS, JPA, JSP, JSTL, and Servlets.

• Provide technical direction on Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Apache Camel, ActiveMQ, Struts, OSGi, and Hibernate.

• Design multi-tier and distributed applications using patterns such as MVC, Singleton, Session Facade, DAO, and Business Delegate.

• Provide architectural guidance for web technologies including JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, ReactJS, Angular, NodeJS, and related frameworks.

• Design and support ORM solutions using Hibernate.

• Guide application build and deployment processes using ANT, Maven, and Gradle.

• Architect and support application deployments on Tomcat, JBoss, and WebSphere.

• Design and integrate SOAP and REST web services.

• Provide guidance on XML technologies including XML, DTD, XSD, XSLT, XPath, XQuery, SAX, DOM, and JDOM.

• Design and support database solutions using Oracle, PL/SQL, DB2, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.

• Review database design, application performance, security, and integration requirements.

• Use tools such as TOAD and SQL Developer for database development and analysis.

• Provide technical guidance on development tools including Eclipse, IntelliJ, NetBeans, and JDeveloper.

• Analyze application performance using JConsole, JProfiler, heap dumps, and thread dumps.

• Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend architectural improvements.

• Provide technical leadership for debugging, troubleshooting, and production support.

• Review technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans.

• Communicate technical solutions, risks, issues, and recommendations to project management and stakeholders.

• Prepare management reports and provide project status and technical information to leadership.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with Cram V7 and Cram application architecture.

• Strong expertise in Cram Rules Framework, Evidence Brokering, IEG, UIM, Facade Layer, and Modelling.

• Strong Java/J2EE application architecture and development experience.

• Expertise in Spring, Hibernate, SOAP, REST, and Web Services.

• Strong knowledge of enterprise application and middleware architecture.

• Experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, DB2, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.

• Experience with Tomcat, JBoss, and WebSphere.

• Strong knowledge of Java security, encryption/decryption, SSL/TLS, and PCI standards.

• Experience with modern web technologies including JavaScript, Angular, ReactJS, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Strong understanding of application design patterns and multi-tier distributed architectures.

• Experience with Maven, Gradle, and ANT.

• Strong knowledge of XML-related technologies.

• Experience with application performance tuning and memory management.

• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent technical communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across complex enterprise projects.
