As a Senior BSA - Integration & Business Applications Engineer at Diligent, you will design, build, maintain, and support scalable integration solutions connecting cloud and on-premises applications across the business. You will work with Boomi, Workato, AWS, APIs, and enterprise applications to automate business processes, improve data quality, and enable AI-driven innovation.
You will collaborate with teams across Finance, Sales, People, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and other functions to understand business needs and deliver secure, reliable, and supportable solutions. The role also includes structured Tier 1 support for Atlassian applications, including Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence, helping users resolve common issues, identifying recurring problems, and improving the operational experience of the platforms you support.
Here's a breakdown of what you'll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):

Design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise integration solutions using Boomi, Workato, AWS, APIs, webhooks, and related technologies.

Build secure, scalable APIs, data transformations, integration workflows, and transaction processes across platforms including Salesforce, NetSuite, Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, analytics platforms, and AWS-based applications.

Apply integration patterns such as API-led integration, scheduled workflows, event-driven processing, file-based exchange, and transaction orchestration.

Perform data mapping, validation, reconciliation, error handling, testing, monitoring, and post-release validation to ensure reliable and accurate data flows.

Troubleshoot production integrations, diagnose root causes, optimize performance, participate in incident and problem management, and maintain runbooks and operational documentation.

Provide structured Tier 1 support for Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence by triaging tickets, resolving common access and workflow issues, documenting resolutions, identifying recurring patterns, and escalating complex issues appropriately.

Contribute to analytics, AI, automation, adoption, and process-improvement initiatives by enabling trusted data and providing technical guidance to stakeholders.
These are the essentials you'll need to get an interview:

5+ years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise integration solutions.

Hands-on experience with Boomi and Workato; relevant certifications are highly desirable.

Strong understanding of integration patterns, REST APIs, SOAP services, webhooks, XML, JSON, authentication, data mapping, and transformation.

Experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, Groovy, or another programming or scripting language.

Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Atlassian Jira/JSM/Confluence, and AWS-based applications.

Experience troubleshooting production integrations and resolving complex data, workflow, performance, or connectivity issues.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and work independently in a globally distributed environment.

Ability to provide structured Tier 1 application support, communicate effectively with users, and escalate issues with appropriate context.

Boomi Professional Developer, Workato Automation Pro, AWS, Atlassian, or ITIL certification.

Experience supporting Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence workflows, request types, queues, SLAs, permissions, automation, dashboards, spaces, pages, or knowledge bases.

Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, source control, automated testing, observability, and cloud-native integration architectures.

Experience supporting enterprise change management, process improvement, adoption, or digital transformation initiatives.

Experience working in a global SaaS environment with geographically distributed teams.

Familiarity with data governance, privacy, security controls, responsible AI, or regulated data.
Working Hours: This role primarily supports US East Coast business hours, which will typically require evening or night shifts in India.
