By harnessing the latest advancements in big data and AI, Quantexa’s Decision Intelligence platform creates context to uncover hidden risk and opportunity within data, driving better business decisions. Our technology solves major challenges across Anti-Money Laundering (AML), KYC, customer insight, credit risk, and fraud.
In just ten years, we’ve grown from a few desks huddled in the corner of a shared space to having over 900+ staff worldwide! We are now in a scale-up phase, and increasing our solutions leadership for Financial Crime and KYC is an essential component of our growth strategy.
Headquartered in London with 14 offices globally, our North American presence includes major regional hubs in New York City, Boston, and Toronto.
Quantexa’s technology powers global Tier 1 banks, insurers, and government agencies as we continue to scale our international footprint.
The opportunity.
We are looking for a Head of FinCrime & KYC Solutions - NA who can take ownership of our Anti-Money Laundering (AML), KYC, and broader anti-financial crime solution suites for the region across all industries (primarily banking, government, and insurance), as assigned by the CPO (AML, KYC and Financial Crime).
This role involves structuring strategic Go-to-Market (GTM) planning, driving account expansion by supporting the sales organization, and ensuring existing projects deliver maximum value from the first conversation, through initial implementation to ‘go-live’ and beyond. You will build market eminence for Quantexa and your own personal brand, taking the learnings from regional deployments and interactions to align with Product and R&D to create more suitable FinCrime & KYC products for your markets.
The successful candidate will work alongside all of our core regional and global functions including Sales, Marketing, Technology Account Partners, Solutions/Field Engineering, R&D, Delivery, Analytics, Architecture, HR, Finance, and Alliances.
What you'll be doing.
Strategic and Product-oriented:

Ensure Quantexa’s AML, KYC, and wider financial crime propositions are meaningful, highly articulated, and aligned for the North American market.
Maintain currency of knowledge of the product, including the R&D roadmap and new feature developments in financial crime, AML, and graph analytics.
Sales and Marketing:
Support the commercial organization in meeting the overall ARR targets for AML, KYC, and Financial Crime.
Train and support our commercial teams with enablement and account-relevant strategies for FinCrime, KYC, etc.
Support pitches and drive opportunities across the region.
Support business case creation, ensuring our FinCrime and KYC propositions "move the needle" and deliver quantifiable ROI for our customers.
Participate in and support proof-of-concept (proving) activities with clients.
Capture case studies and success stories of successful FinCrime and KYC implementations.
Evangelize FinCrime and KYC product benefits to the industry (events, roundtables, thought leadership, market positioning).
Build and present both standard and bespoke solution demonstrations tailored with FinCrime and KYC-specific messaging.
Delivery, Customer Success and Retention:
Review proposals, Statements of Work (SoWs), and project changes as required.
Provide direction to delivery teams on regional FinCrime and KYC priorities and guidance towards highest-value objectives.
Engage with our Field Engineering (Pre and post sales support) organization to connect with existing customers across the US and Canada to highlight value delivered, ensure customer satisfaction, capture feedback, and position us for successful renewals.
Provide guidance and deep financial crime industry insights to senior client stakeholders to ensure long-term success and continuous value from the platform.
Other Functions:
Work with Analytics Assurance to ensure financial crime models are meeting customer needs and delivering the business benefit modeled.
Work with our alliances and partners to support them with enablement, IP creation, ideation, pitches, creation of materials, and articulation of value.
What you'll bring.
Proven experience in using technology and data to identify, investigate, and prevent financial crime, with a heavy focus on AML, KYC, and Sanctions.
Strong Financial Crime Subject Matter Expertise (SME) background – with a history of advising and influencing stakeholders at a senior/executive level.
Extensive, executive-level financial crime experience with a proven track record of deep expertise working in at least one key sector (Banking or Public Sector) within the North American financial services or regulatory landscape
A solution-oriented, pragmatic approach to market and technology challenges – using flexible and creative thinking to help resolve problems and put clients first.
A solution and/or consultancy-oriented approach to selling, helping clients understand financial crime solution value, vision, and ROI.
Experience in Data, Analytics (and specifically the use of Graph/Network Technology for entity resolution and link analysis) is highly beneficial.
Comfortable working autonomously to reach strategic objectives.
Confident presenting and acting as an industry authority/thought leader.
Happy to travel within North America to meet with our regional clients and prospects, alongside occasional global travel to our international offices (including our London HQ) as required.
